| THE DIVINE MASTERS |
| Swami
Ramdas (Beloved
Papa) |
| Swami
Ramdas, known as Vittal Rao in his pre-Sannyas days.
Around the year 1920, he was made to think deeply on
the futility of worldly pursuits and the absolute necessity
of pursuing the divine path for realising his identity
with the Supreme Being, as a result of which alone he
can get 'Peace-eternal.' He
placed himself totally at the altar of God. Intense
aspiration coupled with intense practice to attain the
Highest quickened his spiritual progress and in a short
time he had the vision of beholding his Beloved God
everywhere, both within and without. This resulted in
getting himself established in unending Bliss.

Krishnabai (Pujya Mataji) |
| Pujya
Mother Krishnabai, after being subjected to severe setbacks
and shocks in her domestic life following the passing
away of her husband, was led to Beloved Papa in the
year 1928 who accepted her as his disciple and initiated
her into the all-powerful Ram Mantra. She
attained realisation or Universal vision by implicitly
following her Guru's teachings. Mataji, an embodiment
of love and service, served literally as a mother to
all who came under her spell from the inception of the
Ashram till she dropped her body in 1989.

Satchidananda (Pujya Swamiji) |
| Pujya
Swami Satchidananda, known in Purvashram as Anantasivan,
after a period of struggles and trials in his early
life, came under the spell of the unique personality
of Beloved Papa more than five decades ago. His age
was then thirty. Beloved Papa saw a keen aspirant in
him and Anantasivan found his Guru in Beloved Papa.
At the behest of Beloved Papa, he took to Nama Japa,
Guruseva and dedicated service to all in right earnest
and later embraced the order of Sannyas. The Great Gurus
were grooming Swamiji, as it were, to equip him fully
for carrying out the noble mission.
